About the Role:

As a Commissioning & SET Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful energization and handover of our cutting-edge photovoltaic power plants. You will oversee all aspects of the commissioning and start-up (SET) process for substations and associated electrical infrastructure, guaranteeing compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Stakeholders: Liaise effectively with project managers, engineering teams, construction crews, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless integration and timely execution of commissioning tasks.

  • Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical guidance on electrical systems, protection relays, control systems, and SCADA integration within the substation environment.

  • Safety Management: Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all commissioning activities comply with Eosol Group's safety policies, local regulations, and client requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and verify the quality of work performed during commissioning, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.

  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, implementing effective solutions to minimize delays.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all commissioning activities, including test results, progress reports, and final handover documentation. Prepare detailed reports for project management and stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership: Motivate, guide, and mentor the commissioning team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, installation, and successful commissioning of substation components.

  • Client Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients during the commissioning phase, providing regular updates and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the commissioning workflow and contribute to the development of best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in commissioning and start-up (SET) of electrical infrastructure, with a strong focus on substation projects.

  • Proven experience in renewable energy projects, specifically in the photovoltaic sector, is essential.

  • Demonstrated expertise in substation commissioning, including testing of high voltage equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear), protection relays, control systems, and SCADA.

  • Possession of a valid US work visa is a mandatory requirement for this position.
