About the Role

STAFFVIRTUAL is looking for a highly analytical professional to support a U.S.-based company in the beauty and aesthetics industry.

This role sits at the intersection of data, commercial strategy, and business operations. You’ll work with large volumes of business information, uncover relationships within the data, evaluate how different factors influence commercial outcomes, and help leadership make better-informed decisions.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

• Examine large datasets to uncover meaningful trends, relationships, and opportunities.
• Develop methods for organizing and interpreting complex business information.
• Investigate unusual results, inconsistencies, and areas requiring further analysis.
• Compare different business segments and identify factors that may explain differences in performance or outcomes.
• Create analytical frameworks that make complex information easier for business leaders to understand.
• Evaluate existing business practices and identify opportunities for greater consistency and efficiency.
• Build analysis that can be used to support commercial planning and management decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the business context behind the data.
• Translate analytical findings into concise recommendations and next steps.
• Support leadership with ad hoc analysis for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Maintain reliable datasets and validate information before it is used for decision-making.
• Continuously improve analytical processes, models, and reporting tools.

What You'll Work With

The role involves working with substantial amounts of structured and unstructured business data. You may be asked to:

• Combine information from multiple sources.
• Clean and organize raw data.
• Identify relationships and recurring patterns.
• Create segmentation and classification approaches.
• Test assumptions using quantitative analysis.
• Develop spreadsheets, models, reports, or dashboards.
• Investigate the reasons behind unexpected results.
• Summarize complex findings for senior decision-makers.

The work will evolve as new business questions emerge, so strong judgment and adaptability are important.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, commercial analysis, operations analytics, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing detailed quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate ambiguous business problems and develop structured approaches to solving them.
• Experience presenting analytical findings to managers, senior leaders, or other business stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong experience with PivotTables, Power Query, lookup functions, formulas, and data transformation.
• Ability to efficiently work with large spreadsheets and datasets.
• Experience with SQL is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Python, or comparable analytical tools is an advantage.
