As our Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders across our Transport and Laboratories businesses, helping turn financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support better decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, ensuring teams have clear visibility of performance and future opportunities.
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand business drivers, identify risks and unlock opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver insightful reporting and dashboards that help teams understand performance, trends and key drivers.
• Analyse financial and operational results, investigate variances and provide practical recommendations that support profitability and growth.
• Support investment decisions by evaluating projects, initiatives and opportunities through robust commercial analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping simplify processes, enhance reporting and improve data quality.
• Build trusted relationships across finance, supply chain, sales, procurement and operations, providing proactive financial guidance and support.
• Champion strong financial governance, controls and compliance while promoting safe and sustainable business practices.

What you'll bring

• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in commercial finance, financial planning & analysis, or business partnering
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capability
• Experience translating complex data into practical business insights
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• A collaborative, curious and solutions-focused approach
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as SAP, Power BI or similar would be advantageous
