Commercial Back Office Executive – Netherlands

At Makito, we are continuing to grow and are looking for a Commercial Back Office Executive – Netherlands to join our team and support our commercial operations from our Netherlands office.

We are looking for an organised, resourceful and customer-focused person who enjoys working in an international and multicultural environment and can efficiently manage different orders, customers and commercial requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our international customers, ensuring the correct processing and follow-up of orders, providing customer service and commercial support, and coordinating the different teams involved in each operation.

What will your role involve?

To support our commercial activity and the day-to-day management of our customers, ensuring the accurate handling of orders, documentation and internal processes, as well as smooth communication between customers and departments.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and processing customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
• Entering and updating orders, customer data, prices and commercial terms in the ERP system.
• Communicating with customers, resolving queries and following up on their orders.
• Coordinating with the Logistics, Production, Invoicing and Sales departments.
• Monitoring deliveries and resolving any issues related to orders.
• Managing and reviewing commercial and export documentation when required.
• Updating customer information and price lists.
• Providing administrative support to the Sales team and the day-to-day operations of the local office.
• Managing customers and markets within an international and multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Native-level Dutch.
• Advanced English and French (C1) .
• Previous experience in Commercial Back Office, Sales Administration, Export or Customer Service roles.
• Experience in order management and follow-up.
• Good knowledge of office software, particularly Excel .
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills.
• Ability to resolve issues and work independently.

Desirable

• Knowledge of and experience working with ERP or CRM systems.
• Previous experience in international and multicultural environments.
• Experience related to export administration and documentation.

What we offer

• Immediate start.
• 7-month temporary contract , with a probationary period in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and contractual terms.
• Working hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm , with a 30-minute lunch break.
