Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas, adhering to established standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, polishers, and vacuums efficiently and safely.
• Handle chemical agents responsibly, following safety protocols for mixing, applying, and disposing of cleaning chemicals like floor cleaning chemicals and floor waxing products.
• Conduct floor care procedures including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, and polishing to maintain optimal floor appearance.
• Carry out carpet cleaning tasks using appropriate methods and equipment to remove stains and dirt effectively.
• Lift heavy cleaning supplies or equipment safely through manual handling techniques while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to employer requests and ensuring satisfaction with the cleanliness standards maintained.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services with knowledge of environmental services best practices.
• Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment such as floor buffing machines, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and carpet cleaners.
• Strong understanding of floor care techniques including floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, and polishing.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with safety regulations related to chemical handling.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during routine cleaning activities.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards across different surfaces and environments.
• Good communication skills coupled with a customer service mindset to ensure positive interactions with clients.

BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREENS ARE MANDATORY!

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
