Commercial Cleaner self employed

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our commercial premise. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, welcoming, and well-presented. wednesay 2pm - 6pm

Friday 2pm - 6pm

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organisational skills and reliability.
• Physically fit to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts, including early mornings or evenings if required. Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
