Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Commercial Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise concrete carpentry work on commercial construction projects, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality. Your expertise will help bring complex blueprints and technical drawings to life, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale building initiatives. Duties

• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately construct formwork, rebar frameworks, and concrete structures.
• Construct and install formwork systems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring stability and precision for concrete pouring.
• Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications, maintaining safety protocols during heavy lifting and placement.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools efficiently to facilitate smooth concrete pouring and finishing processes.
• Execute concrete pouring, finishing, and curing techniques to achieve high-quality surfaces in floors, walls, and other structural elements.
• Perform concrete cutting, grinding, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and restoration work as needed for project completion.
• Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations while working with heavy machinery, scaffolding, and hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on commercial construction projects as a concrete carpenter or related role with a strong understanding of construction estimating.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprint specifications accurately.
• Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and the ability to follow safety protocol adherence at all times.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during formwork construction and concrete placement.
• Experience with renovation projects or restoration work is a plus; familiarity with flooring installation or stucco is also beneficial.
• Strong communication skills for interpreting construction plans and collaborating effectively with team members on-site.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
