Job Details:

Seeking highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented individual to provide full estimating services for a wide range of construction projects. Candidates must have commercial construction experience.

Responsibilities:

• Understand contractual terms and conditions.
• Must be able to analyze drawings and specifications.
• Distribute plans, specs, soils reports, and any applicable documents/information to a minimum of three subcontractors in each division.
• Provide detailed material quantity take-offs.
• Compile comprehensive list(s) of questions prior to the bid date and send RFI(s) to the architect and/or owner.
• Contact subcontractors for clarifications of specific divisions if necessary.
• Visit the site and take pictures for future reference, as well as meeting subcontractors for site walks and answering questions.
• Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services.
• Meet with and assist PM/Owner to finalize numbers and job scopes for contracting, establish schedule details, and budget.
• Assist administrative staff in the creation of contract scopes for both the owner contract and subcontract agreement.
• Price change orders, ASIs, and building department required changes.
• Maintain relationships with both subcontractors and clients.

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction estimation experience

Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Basic computer skills, including all Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
