Kelly Spicers is seeking an experienced commercial Credit / Collections Representative to join our Credit team. This position plays a critical role in managing customer accounts, reducing risk, and supporting healthy cash flow while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Important Location Information

This position is temporarily located in Santa Fe Springs, California. The role will transition to its permanent location in City of Industry, California, within the coming months. Candidates must be able to work at the Santa Fe Springs location initially and transition to the City of Industry location when the move occurs.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week and two remote days per week. Please note that the initial training phase will require full office attendance (5 days per week).

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts and outstanding receivables
• Contact customers regarding past due balances and payment arrangements
• Research and resolve account discrepancies, disputes, and unapplied payments
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Management to resolve account issues
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity and customer communications
• Assess account risk and escalate concerns when appropriate
• Help drive timely collections while preserving strong customer relationships

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial collections experience (distribution industry highly preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Excel
• Accounts Receivable experience is a plus
