Commercial Executive (Quantity Surveyor) (Intermediate/Junior)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage value for money and cost saving interior design commercial projects as well tender projects, whilst achieving the required standards and quality.
• Oversee the financial contract administration throughout the course of the project.
• Responsible for procurement for awarded projects.
• Independent and requires minimum supervision in taking off, tendering, prepare preliminary costing for the project and able to do budgetary control.
• Obtain for quotation, liaise and negotiate with various suppliers & sub-contractors.
• Preparation of work-order to sub-contractors.
• Handling of Variation Orders.
• Preparation of monthly progress claims to Clients.
• Other QS duties as and when assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Interior Design is required for this position.
• Knowledge in Building Contracts and good eye for details.
• Possess strong planning, interpersonal, communication, organization and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently in fast paced working environment.
• Proficient in spoken and written English, as well as other local dialects would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Computer software such as MS Words / Excel.
