Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HVAC Filter Technician to join our service team. The HVAC Filter Technician is responsible for inspecting, replacing, and maintaining air filters in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across multiple facilities. This role ensures optimal air quality and system efficiency through regular preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, remove, and replace air filters in HVAC units on a scheduled basis
• Maintain accurate records of filter changes and service dates
• Monitor HVAC system performance and report any operational issues
• Ensure filters meet specifications and replace with the appropriate size/type
• Safely access HVAC equipment on roofs, ceilings, and mechanical rooms
• Maintain inventory of filters and related supplies
• Adhere to safety procedures and company protocols at all times
• Assist HVAC technicians or the maintenance team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in HVAC or facility maintenance preferred
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and air filtration principles
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying environmental conditions
• Comfortable using ladders, tools, and basic mechanical equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve heights, confined spaces, and exposure to dust or debris
• Will require travel between multiple buildings or job sites
• Standard work hours, Monday-Friday from 8 - 5 or Monday-Thursday from 7 - 6, with occasional overtime or after-hours work.
