Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.

A sign-on bonus may be offered, with the amount determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and hiring terms.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to determine appropriate solutions.
• Conduct repairs on various HVAC components such as compressors, evaporators, and thermostats.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while performing all tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs, recommendations, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or refrigeration (HVAC/R).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including installation techniques, equipment repair methods, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license is preferred for travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
