Commercial HVAC Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to service commercial properties throughout the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of commercial HVAC experience and strong diagnostic and repair capabilities.

This position will be responsible for troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, identifying the cause of equipment failures, and completing the necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Identify the root cause of HVAC equipment failures and determine the appropriate repair.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC units ranging from 2-ton to 40-ton systems.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC components.
• Replace or repair defective components as needed.
• Respond to service and maintenance needs at commercial properties throughout the Bay Area.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, customers, and team members regarding equipment issues and repairs.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
• Strong hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Experience working with 2-ton to 40-ton commercial units.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to identify HVAC problems and independently complete repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work throughout the Bay Area.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
