Commercial HVAC/R Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation systems. Knowledge of Boilers, Chillers, Air Handlers, Refrigeration, etc.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to assess system performance.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all operations.
• Collaborate with other technicians and field service personnel to address complex issues.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC/R Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and appliance maintenance.
• Familiarity with various HVAC systems, including residential and commercial units.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC installations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for service calls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
