  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Valid Driver’s License

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You understand the complexity of commercial construction projects
  • You can confidently navigate conversations with contractors and design teams
  • You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to code enforcement
  • You’re detail-oriented but able to see the big picture

What To Expect This is a field-first, hands-on role:

  • Inspections at active commercial construction sites in all weather conditions
  • Exposure to large-scale projects and complex builds
  • Physical activity including climbing, bending, lifting, and navigating uneven terrain
  • Detailed reporting and documentation responsibilities
  • On-call availability for two weeks per year

Why Allen County?

  • Be part of the growth and development of your local community
  • Stable, full-time role with a respected government organization
  • Opportunity to apply your construction experience in a high-impact technical role
  • Work alongside professionals committed to quality, safety, and accountability
