Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for commercial spaces, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand identity.
• Create detailed drawings and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to communicate design intent clearly.
• Produce high-quality 3D models and renderings utilizing 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Photoshop to visualize concepts effectively.
• Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local building regulations and safety standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed construction documentation including specifications, lighting plans, and material selections to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Collaborate on residential interior design projects when applicable, applying principles of color theory and graphic design software for compelling presentations.
• Oversee the development of BIM (Building Information Modeling) models to streamline construction processes and improve accuracy.
• Communicate regularly with clients to present designs, gather feedback, and ensure their vision is realized throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial interior design or related architectural fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, along with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Skilled in 3D modeling software including 3ds Max and Rhinoceros 3D for architectural visualization.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction detail documentation practices.
• Experience managing multiple design projects simultaneously from concept development through construction completion.
• Familiarity with lighting design principles and lighting sales strategies for commercial environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members while managing contracts and project expectations.
