Job Summary

Al Helal Kitchens is looking for a Commercial Kitchen Designer / Technical Drafter to support the sales and project teams with commercial kitchen layouts, restaurant projects, technical drawings, and project documentation.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in commercial kitchens, restaurant projects, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MEP coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial kitchen and restaurant layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare 3D presentations and concepts using SketchUp.
• Read architectural, technical, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare kitchen equipment layouts and technical drawings.
• Identify and coordinate required MEP service points, including electrical, water, drainage, gas, and other equipment requirements.
• Coordinate kitchen layouts with architectural and MEP drawings.
• Convert site measurements and project requirements into accurate drawings.
• Revise drawings according to customer, sales, or project requirements.
• Support the sales team with drawings and technical information.
• Coordinate approved drawings with production and project teams.
• Maintain organized drawing files and revision records.
• Support residential kitchen drawings when required.

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good practical knowledge of SketchUp.
• Experience in commercial kitchens or restaurant projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to read architectural, technical, and MEP drawings.
• Good understanding of kitchen equipment layouts and MEP service points.
• Ability to work from site measurements and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate with sales, production, and project teams.
• Good Arabic and English communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools for design support and productivity is an advantage.
