Commercial Laundry Folder/Ironer Operator

Overview
The dual position of a folder/ironer operator plays a crucial role in the operations of our commercial laundry facility. This role involves handling and organizing laundered items, ensuring that they are properly folded, packaged, and prepared for delivery to our clients. This position ensures all items meet company quality standards while maintaining productivity to ensure deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Duties

• Catch linens, tablecloths, and other textiles from commercial ironing machine safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains, tears, damage, or quality issues before and after processing.
• Sort, fold, stack, and prepare finished products for packaging or delivery.
• Maintain production quotas while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Organize folded items efficiently for easy retrieval and delivery.
• Maintain a clean station to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during operations.
