An excellent opportunity for a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded international firm in Philadelphia.

The team handles sophisticated commercial disputes for a broad client base, with exposure to complex business litigation, contractual disputes, investigations and other high-stakes contentious matters.

The Role

• Advising clients on complex commercial and business disputes
• Handling matters involving contractual disputes, business torts and other commercial claims
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs and other litigation documents
• Managing discovery, including document production and depositions
• Conducting legal research and developing case strategy
• Taking meaningful responsibility for discrete matters and workstreams on larger disputes
• Working directly with clients, opposing counsel and other parties throughout the litigation process
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's broader litigation and regulatory practices

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years' experience in commercial litigation
• Experience handling complex business or commercial disputes
• Strong drafting, research and advocacy skills
• Experience at a leading law firm preferred, although strong candidates from boutique or mid-sized litigation practices will also be considered
• Comfortable taking ownership of matters and managing competing deadlines
• Strong judgment, attention to detail and communication skills
• Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong academic and professional credentials
