Commercial Litigation Associate

Our law firm client is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Manchester practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator who wants to take on meaningful case responsibility and hands-on involvement in sophisticated corporate and commercial disputes while working alongside an experienced and collaborative litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have substantive experience across the litigation lifecycle and be comfortable managing multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

The associate will represent a diverse client base in complex corporate and commercial disputes, with responsibilities that may include:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Managing written and document discovery
• Handling complex e-discovery matters
• Conducting legal research and developing case strategy
• Preparing for and participating in depositions
• Supporting and handling court appearances
• Preparing matters for hearings, mediation, and trial
• Managing case deadlines and substantive litigation responsibilities
• Communicating directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy
• Collaborating with attorneys across complex commercial matters

Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active New Hampshire Bar membership required
• 3-7 years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience representing clients in complex corporate and commercial disputes
• Strong pleadings and motion practice experience
• Substantive discovery and e-discovery experience
• Deposition and/or courtroom experience is a plus
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently manage substantive responsibilities
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
