Hiring: Commercial Manager, National Accounts

Location: Manchester or Leeds

Salary: up to £60k + package

I'm recruiting for a facilities management business on a Commercial Manager role supporting one of its largest national government contracts (c.£200m).

It's a post-contract role within a wider commercial team. It would suit someone with a few years of contract or commercial management experience who wants to build their career on a major, complex public sector account.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the post-contract commercial management of a major government account
• Managing contractual obligations, performance and compliance
• Supporting variations, change control and commercial negotiations
• Monitoring commercial risks and opportunities
• Working with operational teams to resolve contractual and commercial issues
• Maintaining strong relationships with government clients and key stakeholders
• Supporting commercial reporting and governance

What I'm looking for

• Experience managing contracts or customer accounts after award
• A good understanding of commercial and contractual principles
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with large or complex customers
• A structured approach to contract management and governance
• A background in FM, outsourcing, infrastructure or another large-scale service environment is ideal
• Government contract or CCS framework experience is a bonus, but not essential
