Commercial Operations Specialist

About the Job

We’re hiring a  Commercial Operations Specialist  🚀

Gamesporium is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded  Commercial Operations Specialist  to join our team.

This is a  full-time, freelance, fully remote role  for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, making sound day-to-day commercial decisions, and managing important operational workflows with limited supervision.

You’ll work at the intersection of commercial operations, pricing, catalog management, partner coordination, and market intelligence, helping ensure that Gamesporium operates efficiently and remains competitive across its global PC games offering.

Who We Are

Gamesporium is a global PC game storefront offering a diverse catalog of officially sourced titles to gamers worldwide.

From indie gems to established releases, we work closely with publishers and partners to bring compelling games, competitive offers, and strong promotional campaigns to players across international markets.

We’re a fast-growing, commercially driven team that combines the pace of a scale-up with an increasingly structured and professional operating environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of day-to-day commercial and operational workflows across our game catalog
  • Coordinate game launches, new product entries, pricing, assets, availability, and catalog updates
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, pricing movements, and relevant PC gaming trends
  • Support commercial decision-making through market analysis, pricing assessments, and performance insights
  • Coordinate closely with publishing partners on operational requirements, releases, campaigns, and ongoing activities
  • Help prepare and execute promotional campaigns and commercial opportunities
  • Ensure operational requests and ongoing activities are followed through accurately and on time
  • Monitor catalog performance and proactively identify pricing, availability, or commercial improvement opportunities
  • Maintain accurate internal records, reporting, CRM data, and operational documentation
  • Work across commercial, publisher management, finance, marketing, and operations teams to resolve issues and keep workflows moving
  • Identify recurring operational problems and contribute to improving processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Take responsibility for assigned projects and workflows with limited day-to-day supervision

What We Expect

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience  in commercial operations, sales operations, e-commerce operations, digital commerce, or a similar environment
  • Experience working in a structured professional or corporate environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand pricing, margins, market positioning, and customer expectations
  • Advanced and fast Excel / spreadsheet skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and confidence working with commercial data
  • A high level of ownership. Someone who can be trusted with important workflows and follow them through independently
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader commercial objective
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external partners
  • Familiarity with PC gaming, digital storefronts, publishers, and the broader games industry is a strong advantage
  • Good judgment, reliability, and the ability to solve day-to-day problems without requiring constant direction

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in the gaming, software, digital products, e-commerce, or marketplace industries
  • Experience with pricing, commercial analysis, catalog management, or revenue-related operations
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, BI, or other operational systems
  • Exposure to international markets and multi-country commercial operations
  • Genuine interest in games and awareness of major PC gaming releases, publishers, and market trends
  • Previous charity or social-impact involvement
  • Ability to communicate in Russian or Chinese is a big plus

Why Join Us

  • 100% remote working environment with Europe-aligned hours
  • A role with genuine ownership and room to influence how we operate
  • Exposure to a fast-growing international gaming business
  • Work closely with commercial, publishing, marketing, and operational teams
  • Opportunity to develop beyond execution and take responsibility for increasingly important commercial workflows
  • Be part of a business connecting players, publishers, partners, and charitable initiatives
