Commercial Operator

About the role

You will be working alongside both the Commercial & Operations Departments at Enviroports' Singapore office. Your role is to support and increase company market coverage worldwide, by marketing Enviroports' services in the region, and interacting between local port operators and shipping clients.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment
• Respond to inquiries, follow up with quotation and calls as required by clients and shipowners
• Liaise with stakeholders for proformas and sales support to confirm the job
• Plan and coordinate with local vendors and contractors for smooth operations
• Liaise and maintain relationships with various stakeholders (Shipowners, charterers, vendors)
• Ensure proper monitoring of logistics and operations service and evaluate needs of the client

About you

• Organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to present and interact effectively with internal staff and external stakeholders
• Fluent English (Speaking and Writing)
• Competent in using MS office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) and acquire CRM system – Insightly
• Ideally 2 years shipping experience in Brokering, Shipping or Ship Agency
