Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols.
• Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery effectively for access and treatment purposes.
• Perform confined space entry safely when required, adhering strictly to confined space entry safety procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity, and treatment outcomes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Educate clients on pest prevention strategies through clear communication and excellent customer service.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all driving safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement integrated pest management techniques to minimize chemical use while maximizing pest control effectiveness.
• Stay updated on entomology trends, pesticide application knowledge, and safety protocol adherence through ongoing training.
• Assist with outdoor work such as lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience or strong interest in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping or agriculture fields.
• Knowledge of pesticide handling, pesticide management, chemical agent application, and pest control chemical handling procedures.
• Familiarity with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and outdoor work environments.
• Mechanical knowledge including the operation of land-based equipment or farm machinery is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed safety protocols including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse outdoor settings.
