Commercial Roofing Apprentice Technician — Saint Paul, MN

Compensation: $20/hour

Holland Roofing is expanding our Minnesota service team and seeking a reliable, hands-on learner to grow into a commercial roofing pro.

A Day in Your Boots

You’ll head straight to the jobsite each morning—no office stop needed. Working alongside a Service Foreman, you’ll assist with inspections, repairs, and site prep across multiple customer locations. As projects wrap, you’ll move to new sites around the Saint Paul area, gaining exposure to different buildings and roofing systems without the extra commute to the office.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Service Foreman during roof inspections and repair tasks
• Handle materials, maintain a clean, safe work area, and operate tools and equipment
• Work outdoors in changing weather while following safety practices

What You Bring

• Experience using power tools or outdoor equipment
• Construction, trade school, or other hands-on work experience preferred
• Experience with forklifts, basket lifts, or similar equipment is a plus
• Background in roofing, carpentry, masonry, sheet metal, landscaping, concrete, asphalt, plumbing, or related trades is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfort working physically and outdoors
• Willingness to learn commercial roofing

Roofing experience is not required.
