Role Description The Commercial Roofing Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX. This position oversees commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with field crews and subcontractors, reviewing project specifications, managing materials and equipment, and conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality. The Project Manager will communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, handle change orders, track costs, and maintain accurate project documentation. The role also involves enforcing safety standards, resolving jobsite issues, and supporting continuous improvement in project delivery and customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to review plans, assess project risks, and support data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication skills for working with clients, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Budgeting and finance skills to develop estimates, track costs, and manage project profitability.
• Experience with contract management, including reviewing terms, negotiating changes, and ensuring compliance.
• Prior project management experience in commercial roofing, construction, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of roofing systems, waterproofing methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with project management software, MS Office, and digital documentation tools.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing jobsite conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or a degree in construction management or a related discipline is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites in the Austin & San Antonio area as needed.
