Commercial Staff

Job purpose

Commercial Insurance Staff Member supports our commercial lines department by assisting clients with quotes, policy servicing, renewals, and documentation. This position requires working in person at your assigned location.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist customers with commercial insurance quotes, applications, and policy changes.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely policy renewals and endorsements.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, process endorsements, and resolve issues.
• Support producers and account managers with daily administrative and client service tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company procedures.
• Handle certificates of insurance, binders, and policy documentation processing.
• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly helpful environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, demonstrating solid product knowledge and meeting all other components of company's customer service guidelines.
• This position requires working in person at your assigned location.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an insurance office or customer service role (commercial lines preferred).
• Active P&C insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of general liability, commercial auto, property, and workers' compensation policies is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with agency management systems is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
