Commercialization Project Manager (Contract)

Our client, a CPG company, is looking for a Contract Commercialization Project Manager. This individual will manage multiple commercialization initiatives across a portfolio of approximately 30–40 SKUs, driving timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects move efficiently from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercialization projects, including packaging updates, product changes, line extensions, and new product launches.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Partner with Brand, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to drive execution and accountability.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding decisions, approvals, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
• Identify potential delays and resolve roadblocks to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain visibility across multiple initiatives while ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience managing commercialization projects within the CPG industry, ideally in food/ bev.
• Experience managing multiple SKUs, packaging changes, product updates, or new product launches.
• Strong project management skills, including timeline development, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proven ability to independently drive projects through execution and completion.
• Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

This is a contract opportunity for 6 months to start with the potential to convert in 2027. This role requires candidates to be in office in Oakbrook 3 days a week.

This position pays a hourly rate of $40/hr-$50/hr dependent upon experience. Our consultants are eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision benefits.
