About Craftels

We are building a culinary destination in South Goa where food, design and hospitality come

together. Our kitchen direction combines Goan and global influences, distinctive sauces,

thoughtful advance preparation, documented recipes, quick finishing and low wastage. We

are looking for practical cooks and leaders who can develop a reliable team and make good

food consistently through busy services.

About the role

You do most of the prep and the basic cooking under a Chef de Partie, on an Indian and

tandoor, continental or Indo-Chinese station, and you learn the next station.

What you will do

• Help on your station: Indian and tandoor, continental or Indo-Chinese prep and cooking
• Wash, peel and cut as shown
• Measure ingredients by weight
• Cook basics such as sauces and fries under guidance
• Plate dishes as the chef shows you
• Store, label and date food

What you need

Required

• Diploma, ITI Food Production or similar
• 6 to 12 months in a commercial kitchen
• Basic food safety; Hindi or English
• Willing to live and work full-time in South Goa

Good to have

• Indian and tandoor experience is welcome (one opening is on the tandoor station)
• Continental and Indo-Chinese experience is welcome
• Goan experience is welcome
• Multi-cuisine experience is welcome
• Bar or brewpub experience is welcome
• Clean as scheduled and throw away expired items
• Report broken equipment
