Cartel Coffee Roasters is looking for a motivated and passionate Commi – Bakery to join our growing kitchen and bakery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bakery and viennoiserie production.
• Support the preparation of croissants, laminated doughs, breads, buns, and other bakery products.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and production standards accurately.
• Assist with mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing.
• Prepare daily mise en place and support the bakery production schedule.
• Maintain consistency in product quality and presentation.
• Follow proper storage, labeling, FIFO, and food-safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic working environment.
• Support senior chefs with new products and bakery trials.
• Minimize wastage and handle ingredients and equipment responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bakery team.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a professional bakery, pastry kitchen, hotel, restaurant, or café is preferred.
• Basic understanding of bakery production and dough handling.
• Experience with croissants or laminated dough is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail, organization, and hygiene.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, hardworking, reliable, and passionate about bakery production.

This is a hands-on position with opportunities to develop bakery skills, learn Cartel’s products and production systems, and grow within the team.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
