North Indian Commis I – Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated North Indian Commis I to support the kitchen team in preparing authentic North Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare North Indian dishes as per standard recipes and hotel standards.
• Assist with daily mise en place and food preparation.
• Prepare gravies, curries, kebabs, breads, and other North Indian specialties.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of food ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned kitchen section.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
• Coordinate with the Chef and kitchen team during daily operations and busy service periods.
• Support banquet and special event food preparation when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a North Indian kitchen preferred.
• Good knowledge of North Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Job Type

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
