Ten 11 Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team in INEJ Executive Lounge Chennai Central Railway Station.

Location: Chennai Central Railway Station
Position: Commis Chef
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Handle mise en place and preparation as per the assigned section.
• Prepare food according to standard recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning and presentation.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Follow proper storage and stock-rotation procedures.
• Minimize food wastage and support efficient kitchen operations.
• Coordinate with senior chefs and the kitchen team during service.
• Follow instructions and maintain discipline in the kitchen.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a hotel, restaurant, lounge or hospitality setup will be preferred.
• Culinary / Hotel Management qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork, discipline and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in shifts.
