Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis 2 – Indian & Chinese to join our kitchen team. s.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Indian and Chinese dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Properly store food items.
• Keep workstations, cooking equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and work effectively as part of the kitchen team.
• Support buffet, banquet, and other food-service requirements as needed.
• Report any equipment problems, food-quality issues, or shortages to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic to good knowledge of Indian and Chinese cuisine.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, spices, sauces, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Hospitality or culinary qualification is an advantage.

Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience in Indian and Chinese cuisine is preferred.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
