Commi – Japanese Teppan The Commi– Japanese Teppan is responsible for assisting in the daily kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, and cooking Japanese teppanyaki dishes under the supervision of the Chef or Senior Teppanyaki Cook. The role requires knowledge of basic food preparation, proper food handling, kitchen sanitation, and teamwork to ensure consistent food quality and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing and cooking Japanese teppanyaki dishes, including meat, seafood, vegetables, and rice.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and other kitchen essentials.
• Assist the Chef or Teppanyaki Cook during food preparation and service.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking stations, and equipment.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Monitor ingredient stocks and report shortages to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications (for all positions):

• At least High School Graduate, Senior High School Graduate, or College Level.
• 6 months to 1 year experience of relevant kitchen experience
• With experience in Japanese cuisine or teppanyaki is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Willing to learn Japanese cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Hardworking, organized, and a team player.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays

Pay: Php755.00 per day
