Commis 1

We are looking for a Commis 1 to assist the kitchen team in preparing and cooking food while maintaining proper quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking food according to recipes and standards.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain proper mise en place.
• Assist the Chef and kitchen team with daily food production.
• Ensure food is properly prepared, portioned, and presented.
• Keep the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
• Properly store and handle food and ingredients.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Check ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with receiving, preparing, and storing kitchen supplies.
• Support other kitchen sections when needed.
• Follow instructions from the Chef or immediate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
• Culinary education or training is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking.
• Willing to learn and develop culinary skills.
• Hardworking, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to work well with a team.
• Good attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willing to work on-site in Batangas City, including weekends and holidays when required.
