Responsibilities

· To prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.

· To prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods.

· Able to operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.

· To do food testing to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.

· To monitor food quality while preparing food.

· To set-up and break down work station.

· To maintain, wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

· To check and ensure the correct temperature of appliances and food.

· To perform any other task as and when assigned by Chef

· Excellent in hygiene, food standards and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures.

Requirements:

· At least SPM or Certificate / Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.

· Relevant working experience in the Hospitality / Food industry.

· Capable of multiple tasks

· Able to communicate effectively

· Malaysian citizen

· Only successful candidates will be notified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
