COMMIS III – INDUSTRIAL CANTEEN

We are looking for 2 hardworking and dedicated Commis III to join our industrial canteen team. The ideal candidates should have basic kitchen experience, good food hygiene knowledge and the ability to assist chefs in daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum secondary school education preferred.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in industrial canteens, hotels, restaurants or catering operations.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Basic skills in washing, peeling, cutting and preparing food ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork, discipline and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef and other chefs with daily food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting and preparing ingredients.
• Support the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
• Assist with food serving arrangements and general kitchen operations.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, cooking equipment, workstations and food preparation areas.
• Assist in receiving, checking, storing and handling raw food materials.
• Maintain proper kitchen cleanliness, personal hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling of ingredients to minimize food wastage.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and perform other assigned kitchen duties.
