Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist the Chef de Partie (CDP) and Sous Chef with daily mise en place (preparing and organizing ingredients) and cooking tasks.
• Recipe Execution: Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and plating specifications to ensure consistent food quality and flavor.
• Station Management: Keep your assigned kitchen section clean, organized, and fully stocked during service hours.
• Inventory & Safety: Monitor ingredient stock levels, report shortages, and safely operate kitchen equipment while adhering to HACCP and local hygiene standards.
• Teamwork: Support other kitchen sections and team members during peak operational hours.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Commis II/III or Commis Chef 1 in a reputable restaurant, café, or hotel.
• Skills: Good knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
• Certification: Basic food safety or culinary certification is an advantage.
• Communication: Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
