Commis Chef

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our team at Bulls and Bears Bistro. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong background in cooking and excellent kitchen management skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Manage and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Assist the Head Chef in planning menus and developing new recipes.
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setup.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
