Job Description – Multicuisine Cook

Position: Multicuisine Cook
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Head Chef / Executive Chef
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Multicuisine Cook who can prepare a variety of Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other cuisines while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, presentation, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and quality requirements.
• Handle Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other multicuisine preparations.
• Perform food preparation, cutting, marinating, cooking, and plating.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the chef about ingredient requirements.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
• Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Maintain proper coordination with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Multicuisine Cook or similar role.
• Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
