Commis Chef

We are looking for a Commis chef to join our team here at Bracken.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, handling deliveries and stock rotation, keeping kitchen area clean and tidy at all times to EHO standards and assisting chefs with day to day cooking. Instrumental in adhering to the set menu, the commis chef will be responsible for: Ensure the kitchen is delivering great quality food, whilst always maintaining a quality service driven environment. Support the effective completion of all health and safety regulations including HACCP, COSHH and all other due diligence. Ensure that the kitchen is adhering to the highest cleanliness standards. You should be someone who has worked in a kitchen before and can demonstrate supervision / Food Safety responsibilities. Ensuring the set menu is delivered to the required standard is critical, with limited menu development opportunities at this stage.
