Commis Chef

Bunce's is a busy restaurant and bakery in Marlborough that is looking for an additional Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

Although experience isn't necessary, you should ideally have a basic understanding of food preparation. You will be required to work methodically and efficiently, so being well organised is an essential skill. You should be enthusiastic and focused with a hard working attitude, keen eye for detail and have good communication skills.

Your role

Your main role will be to assist the kitchen team in preparing, cooking and plating meals. You'll also be responsible for handling deliveries, stock rotation and helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.

You'll be part of a small, friendly and down-to-earth team of individuals that are able to balance a good sense of humour in a relaxed but focused working environment, with a can-do, hard working attitude towards their work. If this sounds like you then you'll fit right in.

Pay

Starting salary will depend on age and experience. For the right candidate there will be opportunities for extra responsibilities and pay rises.
