Commis Chef

About the role

As a Commis Chef at the Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This full-time position is based in our kitchen located in Mount Warren Park, QLD 4207.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Head Chef in the overall management and operation of the kitchen
• Supervising and training the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
• Coordinating the daily food preparation
• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items
• Providing exceptional customer service to members and guests

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality or catering environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Food safety and hygiene certification
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
