Job Title: Pan-Asian Commis 2

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pan-Asian Commis 2 to join the kitchen team at The Port Land. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Pan-Asian cuisine, strong cooking fundamentals, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Pan-Asian dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Handle mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared and stored correctly.
• Manage assigned kitchen sections and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety and hygiene practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.
• Monitor ingredient availability and communicate stock requirements to the senior chef.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain service standards.
• Assist in developing new dishes and improving existing menu items when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Pan-Asian cuisine.
• Good knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, and flavour profiles used in Pan-Asian cooking.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well within a team.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
