Commis Chef

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Commis Chef to join our dedicated team!

The candidate will be a hardworking, reliable and talented individual. We are looking for someone who is able to integrate into a long established team and work in a busy and fast paced environment, whilst delivering the highest standard quality. You will be working on functions for up to 150 guests, alongside our 80 cover restaurant, Coast Brasserie.

• Immediate start

• Full time

• Predominantly afternoon/evening shifts with an opportunity where suitable/interested to cover breakfast shifts

• Typically finishing by 9pm, with occasional variations

• Occasional weekends off on request

• Complimentary gym use

Commis Chef requirements:

• A good understanding of food and the maintenance of food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Work experience in a similar role is highly desirable - full training on our menus will be provided.
• Assisting in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are plated and served.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ensuring efficient kitchen operations by coordinating with team members.
• Assessing inventory and requesting restocking when necessary.
• Able to work bank holidays and weekends
