Commis Chef

Commis chef with a minimum of 2 / 3 year experience required to work on a full time bases in a family run bar restaurant located 13 miles south of Galway city.

We are looking for an experienced person to join our busy kitchens, liaising directly with the Head Chef to ensure a successful working environment. Your main area of responsibility will be preparing dishes from our menu to a high standard.

Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in a similar busy environment

Experience within an event Catering food business would be beneficial

Good Knowledge of European cooking

Developing new recipes/dishes for seasonal menus.

Taking responsibility for the quality of all food preparation and their prompt service

Ensuring outstanding attention to detail, while maintaining high standards.

Maintaining stocks and ensuring efficiencies in food costs and wastage

Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €15.00-€17.50 per hour
