• Preparing vegetables, meat, sauces, and other ingredients
• Basic cooking and food preparation
• Following recipes and portion standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
• Setting up the kitchen before service (mise en place)
• Assisting senior chefs during service
• Storing food properly and checking ingredients
• Following food-safety procedures
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
