What they need
- Assisting senior chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning ingredients
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including cleaning workstations, equipment and utensils
- Preparing basic components of dishes under supervision and guidance
- Organising and storing ingredients and kitchen supplies in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting the smooth operation of kitchen services during service periods
- Following recipes and instructions accurately whilst maintaining food quality standards
- Assisting with stock rotation and inventory management as required
- Supporting other kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery
