What they need
About the role
We're hiring a Commis who wants to learn, works clean, and takes pride in getting the basics right every service.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out food prep as instructed: washing, peeling, cutting, portioning
- Keep your prep area clean and organized to food safety standards
- Follow recipe specifications, portion sizes, and plating standards
- Support one or more stations during service, working toward running a small station on quieter shifts
- Apply correct knife skills, cooking techniques, and hygiene practices
- Store and rotate stock correctly (FIFO) to minimize waste
- Monitor stock at your station and flag shortages to the Chef de Partie
- Communicate clearly with senior chefs on stock, quality, or timing issues
About you
- Prior kitchen experience is an advantage
- Thai Speaker Mandatory
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Basic knife skills and food hygiene awareness
- Able to keep up during busy service periods
- A team player who takes initiative and takes pride in their work
