Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Commis Cook to join the team in our fine-dining room, Aurelia.

Residing inside the historic Agassiz Mansion at Castle Hill Inn, The Forbes and Relais & Chateaux restaurant Aurelia is the next evolution in Castle Hill’s culinary journey – one that has been lauded as one of the best dining experiences in New England. About the Position: In the Commis Cook role, you will be preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food for guests.

About You: You are energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our guests comes naturally. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and are willing to work as part of a team.

Essential Duties:

• Prep ingredients and prepare recipes to specification
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
• Properly label and rotate ingredients and finished recipes according to FLM standard
• Maintain compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards
• Assist with receiving deliveries
• Adheres to all policies and procedures as detailed in Food Safety Plan
• Always maintain composure and hospitality nature with guests and other staff

• High-volume and Hotel experience is a plus
